ICTPS Company is seeking for:

 Network Management Centre( NMC Engineer)

DEPARTMENT: Technology_Ops

FUNCTION: OM_NMC

Job purpose:

-     To monitor the GSM network round the clock and resolve any arising problem and/or report it to relevant parties.   

 

Main Responsibilities:

 -GSM network monitoring and problem escalation
-24x7 monitoring for all switching nodes through the available & recommended NMS.
-Escalating all alarms during the emergency, critical, major and minor alarms within agreed time leads.
-Keeping the needed alarm or printout logs.

GSM network problem solving:

-Solving the Minor problems

Routine tasks
-Daily Tasks (Shift Report, Dumps, data bases).
-Suitable Response to work flow (instructions, mails, calls,..).
- Testing RBS external alarms with RBS vendors.
- Bringing the needed spare parts from the h/w store.
- E-mails’ backup.
- Performing the job according to company security standards and rules.


Performance enhancement & skills development
- Training courses effective attendance.
- Skills development .

Person Specification (Technical / Professional Expertise)

Education: university graduations (except literate colleges).
Work Experience: Fresh Graduate or 1 year experience max.
PC Knowledge: Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Unix, … etc.), in addition to good knowledge with software applications such as MS Office applications.
Technical skills: None, only the logical thinking is a must.
Personal skills: Open minded, ready to work under pressure, active, dynamic, hard worker, able to learn in a short time, helpful among teamwork.
Special requirements:
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
